Costume/Prop list

·       For my front cover Image, no props will be required. I have asked my model to bring clothes that suit the occasion to ensure that I meet audience expectations and represent the brand image correctly. My front cover image had to inspire other females. I did however make a point in saying that her shirt had to be pale so the black cover line could be seen towards the bottom of the page. I will be hiring the college studio lights and white screen however I will be using my own camera.

·       My contents page doesn’t require my models to wear particular clothes due to most of the shots being head-shots. These were taken outside so natural lighting was used.

·       My feature article photos required two sofa props which could be borrowed from the studio for my two models to sit on. I asked my male models to wear casual clothing so that my male audience shouldn’t feel the need to dress eccentrically if they don’t want to. This also suits the style and interests of my male target audience.

Production schedule

Week 1 (15/11/2015) - I have begun work on my preliminary tasks. The photos have been taken for my magazine and contents page and I have begun to sketch out where I want everything to sit.

Week 2 (22/11/2015) – I have recreated the layout for my magazine on Photoshop after close observation of my drawings. The images from my photo shoot have been inserted and the main page has been completed with a masthead and cover lines

Week 4 (29/11/2015) – Finishing touches applied to front cover and contents page has been completed.

Week 5 (06/12/2015)- I have started on my final magazine. An initial photo shoot has taken place and I have chosen the model for my photos. After researching layout, I have sketched the layout I would like to achieve.

Week 6 (13/12/2015)- I have begun to start my front page. I have inserted my image after learning the refine edge brush tool in Photoshop and I have started to write the cover lines after choosing my font.

Week 7 (20/12/2015)- I have started the contents page. Most of the contents page images have been taken and I have listed the contents. The front cover is almost complete however I am need of a new front cover image.

Week 8 (27/12/2015)- Front cover is complete after inserting the new image I have completed a competition box for my contents page. I have started my feature article.

Week 9 (05/01/2016)- contents page is complete after inserting all images and refining layout. Feature article is written and awaits images.

Week 10 (13/01/2016)- feature article is complete after writing second article on Elle Rox and inserting image. Products are complete and are uploaded to blog.
